2018: Year of the Dog

Tomorrow marks the Chinese New Year (also known as the Spring Festival or Lunar New Year) which is the longest public holiday in China and the most important. This year is the year of the dog which symbolizes luck, personality and romance – only 2 days too late for those of us that celebrated Galentine’s Day instead of the real deal. As with many holidays, comes superstitions to avoid bad luck such as avoiding cleaning clothes and sweeping. Any holiday that condones putting off chores is DEFINITELY a holiday worth celebrating in our book. Keep that red out to ward off the mythical beast Nian and have a Happy Chinese New Year!
